Founding Community Partners

A small group of organisations are helping shape Discover Unique during its early development. This page is where we say thank you, publicly and permanently.

Connecting People. Supporting Futures.

What it is

Recognition, partnership and early collaboration

Founding Community Partner status recognises organisations that help shape Discover Unique during its early development. It cannot be bought and is offered at the discretion of Discover Unique.

This programme exists to recognise a small number of organisations that contribute to the platform’s growth, feedback and development. It is not a permanent alternative to Discover Unique Verified™.

Verification standards remain the same for everyone. All organisations must meet the same requirements, including relevant identity, safeguarding, insurance and verification checks, with annual re-verification. No organisation automatically receives Verified™ status.

Recognition

Recognition is permanent. Once an organisation has helped build Discover Unique, that stays part of our public record — badge, profile and a place on this page.

Verification fees

Verification is a separate process with its own fee. Any reduced or waived fee for Founding Partners is temporary and linked to our launch period — never a lifetime exemption. This keeps the programme fair to future providers.

Who qualifies

Founding Partner status is limited, so that it still means something many years from now.

  • Places are intentionally restricted, so we can support each partner properly.
  • Selection is based on alignment with the Discover Unique mission and a willingness to support platform development.
  • Status cannot be bought and is offered at the discretion of Discover Unique.
  • Not all organisations will qualify.

What Founding Partners receive

Founding Community Partner badge

A distinct badge marking your organisation as one that helped shape Discover Unique from the beginning.

Public recognition

A permanent place on this page, a Community Partner profile and enhanced visibility in search results.

Early platform influence

A direct line to us. Founding Partners contribute feedback and help shape features, wording and priorities before anyone else sees them.

Community case studies

An opportunity to share your work in a written case study — always with your approval, and always in your words.

What we ask in return

  • Honest feedback on the platform, including the parts that don't work yet.
  • Taking part in occasional short conversations or surveys as we build.
  • Keeping your listing accurate and up to date.
  • Being open to a future case study about your work, if and when it suits you.

The directory

Our partners

Founding places are limited

Our first partners are being welcomed now.

We’re speaking with charities and community organisations across the UK. As each partner completes verification, they’ll be recognised here — with their listing, badge and, in time, their story.

Growing this into a full partner directory

We’re building this deliberately slowly, so recognition always means something. Here’s what’s in place and what comes next.

Partner badges

A distinct Founding Partner badge, shown alongside the Verified™ badge on listings and search results.

Partner profiles

Each partner's listing acts as their profile today; richer partner profiles will follow.

Public recognition

This page is the permanent public record of the organisations who joined us first.

Community case studies

Short, honest stories of local support in practice — planned once the first partners are established.
